Paul Nelson CFP®, MBA, Vice President, Senior Financial Advisor
Viewpoint - Northridge
I started my career as a financial advisor in 2004. I have grown under the mentorship of the company’s beloved president, Grace Nelson (who also happens to be my mom), I learned what it meant to put the client’s needs first. I have transitioned from an assistant advisor to a sought-after financial professional. I now lead the company’s Wealth Management Consulting Program and oversee portfolio allocation decisions.
As an advocate for financial literacy, I believe that everyone should have access to unbiased financial advice. In addition to educating our clients, I volunteer with Junior Achievement to inspire and prepare young people to succeed through financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship education. I also provide one-on-one pro bono financial planning services to families who otherwise could not afford to hire a financial planner.
My wife Sandra and I live in the suburbs of Los Angeles in the town of Porter Ranch. We are very happy to be part of this community and feel it is a wonderful place to live and raise our daughter, Bella, and son Vincent. We are active in our local church and in supporting our children’s activities. On any given day, you might catch us hiking the local trails, hosting dinner parties, or breaking into impromptu dance offs with Bella and Vincent. In my free time, Il enjoy reading a good book, or practicing my newer hobbies—golfing and deep-sea fishing!
Paul has been acknowledged by Los Angeles Magazine as a three-year winner of the Five Star Wealth Manager* award.
